Accept & Proceed
“A&P by...” is a collaborative project initiated by british agency Accept & Proceed inviting designers all over the world to contribute logo designs for the agency. The only restrictions are to use only Black & White / Grey scale and represent A&P in some way.

During the work on this project, I was thinking about a badly functioning printer we had at college. I wanted to emulate work that was heavily distorted by a printer without the designer's control over the results.

To achieve that, I started experimenting with a new technique of manually editing PostScript files. I exported various files containing basic vector designs to PostScript and then used a standard text editor to search & replace numbers within the file. This action caused various points within the vector data to change location in new & unexpected ways, causing the shapes to distort significantly. I then went back to designing with these shapes and built the characters A&P.
